Electric Vehicle Showcase (Fairfax)

  • October 19, 2019
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM
  • 6560 Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22312

The Electric Vehicle Showcase is from 9:30am - 12pm on October 19th at Thomas Jefferson High School (6560 Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA). Set up will be from 9 until 9:30. Please let me know if you will not be able to arrive before 9:30 so we can plan spaces accordingly. Here is our (very new) Facebook page for the event. Below is the official invitation.

We held a similar event several months ago, our Car Show of the Future. This event focuses more on different types of EVs, so if you have a bike/scooter/motorcycle, bring it along! We'll have a DC Circulator, and some Pedego electric bikes, along with operators from each company to explain the ins and outs of those EVs. There will be a lineup of speakers starting at 10 AM that include school board members, EV owners, health professionals and others. We'll be talking about the important steps Fairfax County can take to help transition our transportation to electric.

Let me know if any EVADC members would like to be there, and if you need any more details! We're also always looking for more speakers, so if any of the members have experience speaking at EV events, I'd love to hear from them. Thanks again for your enthusiasm, and all the work your association does to teach people about EVs in the DC area.

RSVP if you would like to showcase your electric car by emailing ereynolds@environmentamerica.org

Best,
