Healthy Homes Fair
Bring Your EV to the Healthy Homes Fair!
Saturday, March 21, 2026 | Catholic University of America, Pryzbyla Center, Washington, DC
EVADC has been invited to showcase electric vehicles at the Healthy Homes Fair, the biggest consumer-facing home electrification event in the country, hosted by Electrify DC. This year's Fair features a brand-new opportunity for attendees to get up close with EVs — and we need your help!
What We're Looking For
We are looking for 10 EVs representing a variety of makes and models to display at the Fair (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM). We want to show the public the diversity of electric vehicles available today, so we'll aim for a mix — if we receive more sign-ups than spots for a particular make/model, additional vehicles can be parked in an adjacent parking lot.
Optional: Offer Rides or Drive Time
When you sign up, you can also volunteer to give attendees rides in your EV or even let them take a supervised test drive around the Catholic University campus circuit. This is entirely optional but always a huge hit with the public!
Bonus: Free Access to Power Shift — A DER Showcase ($250 Value!)
As an EVADC member, you are invited to attend Power Shift: A DER Showcase that same morning (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM) at no cost — normally a $250 ticket. This policy-focused event features hands-on showcases of cutting-edge Distributed Energy Resource technologies including plug-in solar, bidirectional EV charging, battery-equipped appliances, smart panels, and aggregators. You'll also get an exclusive tour of the Healthy Homes Fair Expo before it opens to the public, plus a panel discussion moderated by Nicolas Rivero of The Washington Post.

Even More to Do at the Fair
When you register for the Healthy Homes Fair on Eventbrite, you can also sign up for these sub-events:
- Healthy Homes Academy (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM): A free program of 16 sessions (25 minutes each) covering the science, technology, and careers of the clean energy transition. Great for anyone curious about the field. The full Academy program will be published soon.
- Climate DC Networking Event (2:30 PM – 5:00 PM): Whether you're already engaged with climate and sustainability education or looking to launch a clean energy career, this is your chance to connect with industry professionals, exchange ideas, and meet directly with institutional partners on the expo floor. Hosted by Climate DC.
How to Sign Up
Important: If you want to participate in all events, you will need to register in three places:
- EVADC Sign-Up: Register here first. In the optional comment field, please describe any educational props you can bring — for example, a portable EV charger, charging adapters, or other accessories that could help educate attendees.
