The Washington DC EV Grand Prix will be having a smaller competition on September 25, 2021 at McKinley Technology High School. This is in preparation for the main event on Saturday April 23, 2022 (the day after Earth Day).

The EV Grand Prix is a competition for high school students to design, build and race electric cars. It provides them with invaluable inter-personal team experience and hands-on building skills.

EVADC, the District Department of Energy and Environment and Pepco will be on hand, supporting the future of electric vehicles. Please come out to help out, lend support, and absorb some of the energy and enthusiasm of these talented and motivated students!

Volunteers are needed for the following tasks:

EVADC table (one person should be enough)
Keeping manual count of the number of laps during the race
Course marshals
Helping with breaking down the tents and tables after we finish.
Photography/videography
